Find the UUID for your player

Finding the UUID for a player allows you to reference the player in other applications, generate the embed code or find a thumbnail for the player.

To find the UUID of a player, you can check player settings, use the embed code or the sharing page URL of the player to extract the value. For example:

In the player settings

Under Settings, there is a field named Player UUID, with the UUID listed to the right of it.

Here is the embed code for a player:

<script type="text/javascript" id="vidyard_embed_code_IDPoF0TLlWDkfsHpoLOkSA"
src="//play.vidyard.com/IDPoF0TLlWDkfsHpoLOkSA.js?v=3.1&type=inline"></script>

Here is the sharing page URL for the same player:

http://embed.vidyard.com/share/IDPoF0TLlWDkfsHpoLOkSA

In both cases the UUID for this player is IDPoF0TLlWDkfsHpoLOkSA.
