Duplicate a video

Sometimes you might want to duplicate a video to add it to another group, to add closed captions, or for testing purposes. Well right here you can learn how!

Sometimes you might want to duplicate a video to add it to another group, to add closed captions, or for testing purposes. It's good to keep in mind that duplicating a video doesn't duplicate the player.

Find the video you want to duplicate

From the Players section of your Dashboard, hover your cursor over the player and click Video.

In the Video tab, click Edit next to your target video.

Duplicate the video

  1. Click Duplicate in the upper right hand corner.
    Duplicate button in the top left corner.
     
  2. Select the group you would like to copy the video to from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Duplicate Video.
    The Duplicate Video options dialogue box.
     
  4. To check out your duplicated video, toggle to the group the video was duplicated to and click on +New Player.
    + New Player button.
     
  5. Your video will appear in your Library of videos, with the same name as the original, plus "(copy)".

The Select Videos window has three tabs. Video Library is the leftmost tab.
