How do I set up an SSL CNAME in Video Hubs?

Overview

When SSL in a Vidyard Hub is involved, there are a few steps to have the certificate applied to the domain in question.

Solution

To set up an SSL CNAME in your Hub you will need to contact Vidyard support to generate a certificate providing the following details:

Country Name (2 letter code) [AU]:
State or Province Name (full name) [Some-State]:
Locality Name (eg, city) []:
Organization Name (eg, company) [Internet Widgits Pty Ltd]:
Organizational Unit Name (eg, section) []:
Common Name (e.g. server FQDN or YOUR name) []:
Email Address []:

Please enter the following 'extra' attributes
to be sent with your certificate request
A challenge password []:   <NO PASSWORD>
An optional company name []:

Once these details are provided, the Vidyard Support team will return a CSR file to be signed. Once signed, send the file back to the Vidyard Support team to be installed.
