Overview
Vidyard uses the term 'Player Load' in several places in the platform. A term that exists in Digital Marketing is 'Impression', so are these the same thing?
Answer
An impression is defined as when digital media renders on a person's screen. Impressions are not action-based and are merely defined by potentially seeing the object in question.
A player load is different to an impression because a player can load on the page, without it being seen. e.g. A Player could be 'below the fold', and would only create an 'impression' if the person on your webpage scrolls down.
