Overview
Some platforms allow you to embed a video using a simple link or URL. For example, it's fairly common for an email client or content management system to support YouTube videos simply by adding a link.
The platform you are using may not currently support adding Vidyard videos with a link. The owners of the platform must add Vidyard videos to a list of supported oEmbed providers.
Below are some alternative solutions.
Solutions
Embed the video in an email (without using templates)
If you want to embed a video directly within an email, please note that only some email clients support inline video playback.
You can, however, take a screenshot of the video with the play button and add a hyperlink to the image.
Embed video into another platform
Although some platforms may allow you to add a YouTube video to your page by providing a link to the URL, the platform you are currently using may not have Vidyard whitelisted as a video provider.
Vidyard must be registered as an oEmbed provider.
Embed video on a webpage
If you want embed the video on a webpage, make sure to use the player embed codes found within Vidyard.
