When you upload an audio-only file to Vidyard, you can display the player in three ways:
- Show a thumbnail
- Show an audio visualization
- Use the Compact Audio Player
The Compact Audio Player will use a player that does not create unnecessary space for visual content. The height of the player will be fixed at 48px.
When you uncheck the Compact Audio Player box and save, the box becomes checked again as shown in the demonstration below.
If you uncheck Compact Audio Player in the player design tab, you also need to define a new height for the player before clicking Save Changes.
If you leave the player size at 48px before saving, Vidyard will think that you still require the Compact Audio Player.
- From the Vidyard dashboard, hover over the audio-only player, then click Settings
- Click on the Design tab.
- Uncheck Compact Audio Player, then set a new player heigh.
- Click Save Changes
