On April 7, 2017, Vidyard released an upgraded integration with Marketo.

New custom activity types | Vidyard's new custom activity types make it simpler and more intuitive to set up rules and criteria in Marketo Smart Campaigns Whereas previously, you had to run a report and filter Vidyard data via a string, you can now filter lead conversion and video view data directly in one step. New data fields | The Vidyard for Marketo integration pushes new types of data to your Marketo instance so that you can score, segment and nurture in a greater, more powerful way:

Custom attributes | Add custom metadata to a Vidyard player, allowing you to build Marketo Smart Campaigns around ever more specific and flexible criteria. For example, you might make a custom attribute based on content type, production cost, funnel stage, or a campaign ID: "webinar video," "$5000," "top of funnel", "Campaign 56789" |
Data backfill | Once a lead becomes known in Marketo, Vidyard will backfill historical view data to their lead record the next time a player is viewed. |
