After you've finished your GoVideo recording, your video will upload and display in a new browser tab.
Depending on your connection speed, recording length, and the state of your browser, the upload may take varying amounts of time to complete.
If the upload takes an extremely long time OR if an error message is displayed, there are a few troubleshooting steps to follow.
The upload may have been interrupted due to a poor upload bandwidth or something disrupting the connection to our servers.
Head over to speedtest.net and run a test to see your download and upload speeds. The upload speed will be the most important number in this situation as the extension mainly uses your upload bandwidth to push the recording to our servers.
Note: A larger amount of bandwidth would be needed to upload longer videos.
If you see that your bandwidth speeds are stable, create a shorter test recording (5-10 seconds in length), first with the camera enabled and then without.
If the shorter uploads are able to process, it may be a matter of your connection's ability to handle a larger upload size.
Following our troubleshooting steps to reload the extension (Chrome extension only) and refresh your browser. Then try again.
