Webcrawlers are utilized by search engines like Google to index content on the internet. To ensure that your content is as effective as possible, use a Vidyard sitemap to provide webcrawlers with video metadata and information about how to navigate your webpage(s).
You may wish to have all of your Video Hub content listed by a search engine like Google so that people can find your content.
A Vidyard Video Hub will automatically have a sitemap as part of its robots.txt file. This means that you do not need to take any further action in order for your players on a hub to be indexed by search engines.
This does not apply to Branded Sharing Pages, but these can be indexed if any sharing page links are on websites that are being crawled.
In order not to have your hub indexed, you can use a login only security method to block any web bots from crawling.
