Whenever a user is invited to GoVideo, their personal GoVideo account becomes attached to the parent group within Vidyard.
Should you no longer require a GoVideo user to have access to your account, remove their personal group from Vidyard. You will also need to remove their user from any roles that they were added to in additional subgroups.
Requirements
- You must belong to a role in the parent group
- You must belong to a role with the View Groups and Create Sub-Groups permissions enabled
Remove a GoVideo user
When a user is removed, they will no longer be able to access Vidyard. Any assets that they authored (videos, hubs, reports, etc.) will remain in Vidyard for your team to use.
- From the Vidyard dashboard, click on Admin > Groups and Users
- Select Manage next to GoVideo Users
- Click on the trash can icon next to the individual GoVideo User that you want to remove.
- You will be prompted to confirm your decision. Click Confirm.
After the GoVideo user is removed, their personal group (along of their video content) will appear under your list of subgroups, labelled as "revoked".
Remove a GoVideo user from any subgroups
If you have also invited a GoVideo user to additional subgroups, remove the user from these roles to as well to completely remove access to Vidyard.
- From the Vidyard dashboard, click on Admin > Groups and Users
- Choose a subgroup from your organization and click Manage
- Click on the user you want to remove and click the trash can button
