A sharing page allows you to deliver videos to your audience on a dedicated, branded, and distraction-free page.
When set up at the parent folder, all others folders in your account (including users' personal folders) will inherit the same sharing page —this includes any design changes, custom HTML and CSS, security settings, and integrations.
If you would like the players in a folder to use a different sharing page (different branding, security, integrations, etc.), you can override the inherited settings and create a separate sharing page altogether.
Requirements
- You must belong to a role with the Edit Branded Sharing Pages permission enabled
Override settings from the parent folder
- Click on the Change Folder button to switch into the folder for which you want to create a separate branded sharing page.
- Select Channels > Sharing Page from the navigation menu
- Click on Override
- Choose how you want to begin a new sharing page (copy original design from the parent folder or start with a fresh page).
- Click Continue
Note
Your new sharing page will require a different domain name. Open the sharing page settings to set up a new domain.
Re-inherit the sharing page from the parent folder
You can also choose to have a separate sharing page re-inherit the sharing page from the parent folder.
By completing this action, the sharing page will lose any design, security settings, and integrations, and re-assume the settings of the parent folder's sharing page.
- Ensure that you are in the folder with the sharing page that was overridden
- Use the Change Folder button to switch folders
- Select Channels > Sharing Page from the navigation menu
- Click on the menu button (three dots), then select Inherit From Parent Folder
- Select Continue
