Note: the following article describes features and workflows related to the Legacy Vidyard Experience. Refer to our new documentation for up-to-date information.
Displaying a playlist beside your player is a great way to allow viewers to easily see and navigate through your player's content.
If you have multiple videos in your player, the Vidyard player will display an option to view the playlist when a viewer hovers over the player (unless you enabled the Hide Playlist setting for that player). This playlist will pause the video and display the playlist inside the player.
To instead display the playlist beside the player, follow the steps below. Here's what the playlist will look like beside the player:
Note: This will add an extra 319 pixels to the width of your player.
- To add a playlist you will need more than one video in your player. You can add and arrange the videos in your player in the player Videostab using the Modify Videos option.
- Once you have the videos you want in your player, click the player Settings tab, then click Design.
- Under Playlist, toggle Playlist always open to ON. To change the default background color of the playlist, choose another color from the Playlist Theme dropdown. You can add your custom brand colors.
And that's it! Now your player has a visible playlist, and it's ready to share!
