How to label a team's videos as AI-generated
If you want to be clear about how your avatar videos are made, you can label them as AI. This can help you be transparent with viewers or comply with local disclosure laws.
You can apply this label in a team's settings. All videos generated by members of that team will have a badge that marks them as AI-generated. Please note that the badge is off by default unless you manually enable it for a team.
How to enable the AI badge for a team
You can enable AI Disclosure in the Team settings of your account.
- Select Admin > Teams from the main menu
- Choose a team, then select Manage next to Settings
- Check the Display 'AI' Badge box under AI Disclosure, and Save to confirm your changes
- Uncheck the box to turn this feature off at any time
Once you've enabled this setting, you'll see a small badge at the top right-hand corner of any of that team's avatar videos, marking them as AI.
Frequently asked questions
Will the AI badge apply to existing videos as well as new ones?
Yes, the badge will apply to any avatar videos already in that team's library, or any new avatar videos they create.
Is the AI badge on the player, or the video file?
The badge is on the Vidyard player. If you download the video file, you will not see an AI badge if you play it in external software.
Can I add the badge to any AI-generated videos I upload?
Not yet, but this functionality will be added soon!
