How to record and share videos in HubSpot

Your team can record and share video messages into emails and templates directly from HubSpot.

• Easily add videos to emails from your personal library or access shared team folders (with Vidyard Teams and Enterprise plans).
• Add videos to your templates and sequences to save time and re-use content

Share videos in a HubSpot email

1. Choose a contact, then select Email
2. Select Insert, then Video
3. Select one or more videos from your library to share
   • Selecting multiple videos creates a playlist. Please note that dynamic variables in your video titles are not supported in playlists.
4. Click Share to add the video thumbnail & link to your email message
   • If needed, click and drag the corners of the thumbnail to resize the image

Select videos from a shared folder

Applicable to Vidyard Teams and Enterprise plans

In addition to your personal library of videos, you can also select videos from any shared folders that you have access to in Vidyard.

1. Click on Folders at the top of your library
2. Choose a folder from the list to switch into 
3. Select any videos from the folder that you’d like to share

Record, upload, or create an AI video in HubSpot

Need to send or respond to an email with a personal message? You can record a new video (either camera or screen recording), or generate an AI video (camera only) directly from HubSpot.

If you're on a Starter plan or above and already have a video file on your computer, use Upload Video to add it to your library.

1. Open a new email message
2. Select Insert Video to open your video library
3. Choose the kind of video you'd like to create
   • Select New Video to record your camera or screen, or upload a video file
   • Select AI Video to generate a new video with your AI avatar

Once you’re finished, you can select Insert to add your video to the body of the email.

Need to make changes to your video before sharing? Select the menu (3 dots) on a video, then Edit in Vidyard to change the thumbnail, trim your video, and edit other settings.

Share videos in HubSpot templates or sequences

Applicable to Vidyard Teams and Enterprise plans

You can also add videos to your Templates or Sequences in HubSpot. This allows you to save time and re-use any standard, generic videos that you regularly send to contacts. This is especially helpful if you’ve added dynamic variables to your video title, ensuring every video you send is customized for each contact.

1. Navigate to your HubSpot Library from the main menu, then select Templates 
2. Choose a template from the list, or create a new template
3. Choose Insert Video from within your Template or Sequence
4. Select 1 or more videos from your library
5. Click on Insert to add the video link and thumbnail image to your Template or Sequence
