Embed limits are a key differentiator between the various Vidyard plan types (i.e. Vidyard Free, Pro, Teams, Business, and Enterprise).
Your embed limit refers to the # of videos in your account that are allowed to be embedded on external webpages.
When a video has embedding enabled, you can embed it as many times, and in as many locations, as you'd like. Once embedding is enabled for a video, it counts against the total limit for your account.
Embed limits by Vidyard plan type
Your Vidyard plan type determines the embed limit for your account. Here's a breakdown of the embed limit by account type:
Account plan type | # of embeddable videos (embed limit) |
Vidyard Free |
5 |
Vidyard Pro | 20 |
Vidyard for Teams | 50 |
Vidyard for Business | 100 |
Vidyard for Enterprise | Custom |

Additional FAQs

If you've already reached your limit but you want to embed another video in your library, you can choose one of the following options:
- Disable embedding on an existing video that you no longer want to share
- Upgrade your plan to increase your embed limit --> reach out to Vidyard's Sales team, or your Customer Success Manager (if applicable) for assistance
- If you have a Custom Plan, reach out to your Customer Success Manager
What if I don't see the toggle to enable embedding on my video?
Some Enterprise accounts may have unlimited embeds as part of their contract with Vidyard. Accounts of this type can embed videos freely without the need to toggle embedding ON or OFF.
