Users must have the Edit video hubs permission enabled

By integrating your Vidyard Video Hub with SAML SSO (Single Sign-On), you can provide authenticated access to your videos through your existing SSO portal. If you use Salesforce as your SSO Identity Provider (IdP), follow these steps on how to set up SSO for your Video Hub using Salesforce.

Note: The following steps assume you have configured a video hub. For more information, refer to Set up a Video Hub for details on creating a hub.
  1. Under Setup for an admin in Salesforce, click App Setup > Create > Apps.
    Create > Apps
  2. Click New under Connected Apps.
Under Connected Apps is the New button.
  3. Enter a Connected App Name, API Name, and Contact Email.
These three fields are under Basic Information.
  4. Under Web App Settings, choose to Enable SAML.
The Enable SAML checkbox is checked.
  5. In the Vidyard Dashboard, select Channels > Hubs.
  6. Click Edit next to the hub you wish to modify Choosing a hub from the menu to edit
  7. Click the Sharing tab.
  8. Select Change in the Access section, then choose Single Sign On (SSO) users.
  9. Select Add Profile. Hub sharing settings with SSO option selected to add new SSO profile
  10. Fill in the following fields from the Vidyard Hubs Security page into the Web App Settings fields:
    Salesforce Vidyard
     Entity Id Issuer/Metadata URL

  11. Save the changes.

  13. Select the app you have just made.
SP-Initiated Redirect Endpoint is found under SAML Login Information.
  14. Copy the SP-Initiated Redirect Endpoint value into the Vidyard Hub Security tab as the SAML Endpoint URL.
SAML Endpoint URL sub-heading in Vidyard.
  15. Go to Security Controls > Identity Provider.
Identity Provider menu is found under Security Controls menu in Salesforce.
  16. Click Download Certificate.
On the Indentity Provider Setup page is a Download Certificate button.
  17. Open the file in a text editor and copy all the text into the x509 certificate field in Vidyard.
The Certificate file opened in a text editor, all the text is highlighted. The certificate information is pasted into the Vidyard Hub Security tab's X.509 Certificate field.
  18. Click Save Changes.

Now the SSO is set up. To add users, add a Profile to the Profiles section of the Connected App. Any users assigned to that profile will have access to the Hub going forward.
