You can download a copy of a video from your library at any time.
You'll have the option to either download the original media file or a copy of the video at different resolutions (1080p, 720p, etc). Vidyard creates these additional copies whenever you upload or record a video.
- The Source (or original media file) will download in its original resolution and file type
- Any other version of the video will download as an
.mp4
file
Need to give the video file to someone else? You can also share a download link to any of the available versions of your video.
Select a video to download
- Click on the title of a video in your library to open the edit page.
- Click on the Download button beneath the video preview

Click on the download icon next to the version of the video that you want to download

Why can't I download my video?
Please refer to the plan availability chart at the top of this article. The Download feature is only available on paid plans, starting with Vidyard Pro.
Download is not available as a feature for Free users.
With Vidyard for Business (Essentials, Growth, Enterprise) accounts, your user must belong to a Team with Download videos permission enabled.
