How to analyze your account's AI video engagement - BETA
To check out how your account and users are succeeding with AI videos and avatars, you can visit your AI Video Engagement page.
This dashboard gives you an overview of how your account uses AI, detailed breakdowns of analytics at both the video and user levels, and overall adoption trends. Use this data to find out how your AI videos are being viewed, and how your teammates are making use of their avatars and workflows.
Open the AI Video Engagement dashboard
- Sign in to your Vidyard account
- Select Insights > AI Video Engagement from the main menu
Types of AI engagement insights
The four sections in AI Video Engagement give you different views of your AI video and avatar metrics, letting you analyze how your content and users are performing. Below, you'll find a quick summary of the information you can view on each page.
Overview
The Overview tab shows you how your account is performing with AI avatars and videos at a high level, making it perfect for checking your overall AI adoption. You can see:
- A breakdown of all AI information for your account, such as AI seats purchased, how many custom avatars have been created, and more.
- Your AI adoption funnel, from license assignment to custom avatar videos with views.
- Where AI videos are being made most often, between manual creation and through workflows.
Videos
The Videos tab gives you a breakdown of your account’s created AI videos, as well as granular insights on their views and how they’re being created. From here, you can see:
- Each video's unique identifier and video link, as well as how many times it's been viewed
- When each video was created, whether it was made manually or by workflow
- Which user created each video, their team, and whether they used a custom or stock avatar
Users
Users lets you see how everyone in your account is faring with AI avatars and videos. You'll see a list of:
- The avatars each user has created, as well as what team they're on
- The AI videos each user has created, their total views, and the average number of views they receive per video
Trends
The Trends section lets you break down analytics for AI avatars and videos by your chosen cadence (week-over-week or month-over-month). Check out:
- How many users are actively creating AI videos within your account
- How many AI videos have been created, and whether they were created manually or via workflow
- How many views your AI videos have received
How to filter and sort your data
Each tab in your AI analytics has filtering and sorting options based on the data it provides. To change the information you're viewing, select the relevant filter dropdown menu and choose the options you want to see.
Below is a quick breakdown of each filter, the section where you'll find it, and its use.

How to download your data
Each widget in your AI analytics has a menu button (3 dots) in the top-right corner that lets you download that data. After selecting Download results, you can choose between .csv, .xlsx, and .json formats.
Terms and definitions
See the list below for definitions of each term that appears in your AI analytics.
- AI seats - Seats assigned to users, giving them the ability to create custom avatars and AI videos.
- AI Video Creator - A user within your account who has created at least one AI video.
- Cadence - The time period schedule you'd like to compare data between (either week-over-week or month-over-month).
- Creator - The person who manually created a video, or for whom a video was created via workflow.
- Custom avatar - An avatar created by a user in your account, with their likeness.
- Method - The way the AI video was generated, either Manually by a user in the account or automatically via a Workflow.
- Stock avatar - An out-of-the-box avatar provided by Vidyard.
- Team - The teams in a Vidyard account, consisting of grouped Vidyard users.
- Video UUID - The unique set of characters needed to reference the right video asset in Vidyard.
- Workflow adoption rate - The percent of users who have generated at least one video with a workflow.

Is there a limit to the amount of data I can view?
The amount of visible data available at once is 2000 rows. If your data extends further, we’ll let you know at the bottom of the page. To see the rest of your data, you’ll need to download the export file.
