You can use Vidyard to easily record and share videos with your team on Slack.

Once the app has been added to your workspace, simply use the /vidyard command to connect your account to Slack and start using video to collaborate with team members.

Using Vidyard in Slack is especially useful if you want to share quick project updates and get immediate feedback in the channels where you already work.

  • Record and share new camera or screen recordings
  • Share existing videos from your library
  • Share videos directly to a Slack channel or DM without copying a link

Requirements

  1. Open a public channel or DM (direct message), then type /vidyard
  2. Select Connect an account to get startedAfter typing the Vidyard slash command into a channel, selecting the button to connect your Vidyard account to Slack
