Change the title of your video

Changing the title of your video is quick and easy. From your video library, open the menu (the three dots ...) next to a video or playlist, then select Edit.

Enter a title of your choice (max 100 characters) at the top of the edit page, avoiding angled brackets (< and >). You can even include emojis! 👋

How do automated titles work?

When you record a video with our browser extension, on the Vidyard website, or in our apps for Gmail, Outlook, and more, we'll automatically give you a clear, descriptive title based on your recording's content (and the language you're speaking). You can edit auto titles in the preview window if needed, or change them later with the steps above.

Can I personalize the title of a video for my viewers?

Absolutely! You can add dynamic variables to your video title so it's tailored to each viewer when sent through your distribution platform of choice (HubSpot, Salesloft, etc.).
