How to stitch your videos together
Using the Stitching feature, you can combine multiple videos from your library into one continuous recording. 🪡
Stitching is perfect if you want to bring together multiple recording takes, personalize a message for your viewer, or re-use existing videos from your library.
Stitch together two or more videos
Stitching combines together two or more videos into a single video. You can then edit your newly stitched video to change its thumbnail, add captions, and change who has access (no settings are carried over from the original videos).
Videos are stitched together in the order that you choose. You cannot reorder a stitched video after you create it.
- Sign in to your Vidyard account
- Select Library from the main menu
- Use the checkboxes to select up to 10 videos in your library, then select Stitch Videos
- Edit your stitch if needed, and select Next when finished
- To change their order, click and drag the selected videos
- Use + Add Video from Library to include more videos in the stitch
- To remove videos, open the menu (3 dots) next to a selected video, then Remove Video

Enter a title for your new stitched video, then select Stitch Videos to create
Stitch from a video's edit page
You can also create a stitch from a video's edit page to combine it with other videos. Simply select a video from your library, and select Stitch under the video preview. Use + Add Video from Library to select the other videos you'd like to stitch together.
Stitch videos from separate folders
When you select videos from your library to stitch together, you can include videos from any shared folders that you have access to.
- Select + Add Video from Library to include more videos in a stitch
- Choose a folder from the navigation path to see its videos & subfolders
- Use the checkboxes to choose the videos you'd like to combine, then Select Videos
Frequently asked questions
What happens to the original videos I stitch together?
The videos you combine are not affected by the stitching process. The finished stitch becomes its own new video, made up of copies of the videos you selected.
