All searches are case insensitive. In other words, don't sweat the details—enter a search term and we'll take care of the rest.
Search by video title
- Open your video library
- Enter a key term in the search bar
Search by video description, tags, notes and UUID
In Teams, Business and Enterprise accounts, you can locate videos in a folder using multiple, advanced search criteria. Search using one or more of the following:
- any words that you've added to a video's description or internal notes fields
- any tags that you've added to videos or playlists
- the video's unique identification value (UUID). This value is case sensitive.
Switch into the folder in your account where you want to search, then:
- Enter a key term to search for videos
- Select the dropdown arrow to enter additional search criteria
- Select Search to continue

Search returns videos and playlists within the current folder. You can use one or more search criteria:
If using search in the parent folder, results will also contain other folders in the account that match the search term |
Search for videos by their title:
- Open the mobile app
- Select the 🔍 search icon
- Enter a key term to search for a video

If you're part of a Teams, Business or Enterprise account, use the dropdown menu to switch folders and search a different collection of videos.
You can also search your library of videos when using Vidyard for Gmail or the Outlook add-in.
Search for videos by their title:
- Open Gmail or Outlook
- In a new email message, select the camera icon to open the Vidyard add-in
- If you do not see the camera icon, open the ⋮ menu to access more options
- Click on the 🔍 search field, then enter a key term to find a video
If you're part of a Teams, Business or Enterprise account, you can also switch folders to search through a different set of videos.
