After installing the Vidyard GoVideo web add-in for Outlook (o365), the add-in may appear "greyed out", unclickable or unresponsive.
The GoVideo web add-in may be in conflict with a COM add-in that you are using (add-ins installed locally on your machine).
Microsoft prioritizes the COM add-ins. As a result, Outlook disables the web add-in when a conflict is detected. More information about this be found on Stack Overflow. We have noticed this happening with both YesWare and Salesforce COM add-ins.
If this is happening to you, try removing some of the unnecessary COM add-ins from your Outlook setup. If this is not possible, speak with your Customer Success Manager or Vidyard Support as you may be able to use the Vidyard GoVideo COM add-in. Our COM add-in offers similar functionality to the desktop web add-in version of GoVideo for o365.
