How to assign AI Avatar licenses to users

Get your team started with AI videos and custom avatars by assigning AI Avatar licenses to your users. You can assign licenses to existing users, or give users a license when you first add them to your account.
Granting users a license allows them to create unlimited AI videos, and have 3 custom AI Avatars active at a time. The number of AI Avatar licenses you can grant is determined by your license allotment, and you can always buy more as your teams' use of AI expands.
Assigning AI licenses to existing users
- Sign in to your Vidyard account
- Select Admin from the main menu, then Users
- Select the menu button (3 dots) next to a user, then select Edit Licenses
- Check the AI Avatars box under add-ons, then Confirm to finish
Assigning AI licenses to new users
- Select Admin from the main menu, then Users
- Select Add Users
- Enter one or more email addresses into the box provided, then select a Team for your new user(s)
- Check the AI Avatars box under add-ons, then Add to finish
Remove a user's AI license
If a user no longer needs their AI Avatars license, you can remove it from them and free the license up for another user.
- Select Admin from the main menu, then Users
- Select the menu button (3 dots) next to a user, then select Edit Licenses
- Uncheck the AI Avatars box under add-ons, then Confirm to finish
Assign or remove AI licenses in bulk
You can assign or remove AI licenses for multiple users at once by checking or unchecking the boxes next to each user on the Users page, and selecting Edit Licences at the top right-hand corner.
You can also edit licenses by updating your Users via CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I check how many licenses I have remaining?
You can see the amount of AI Avatar licenses you've used at the top of the Users page, by selecting Admin > Users from the main menu.
You'll also see your total under AI Avatars in the add-ons section anytime you assign a license or remove a license for any of your users.
Can my users still create AI videos without a license?
Yes, users in your account can still create a lifetime maximum of 2 AI videos for free without a license, using stock avatars. Assigning them a license lets them create unlimited AI videos, and have up to 3 custom AI Avatars.
