How to purchase or remove user seats for Vidyard Starter

On Vidyard Starter plans, each user you add occupies a seat in your account. As you make changes to your teams, you may want to increase or decrease the number of seats to fit your needs. There are two types of seats you can purchase:

• Starter seats - These seats allow you to invite users to your account, where they can create video content, help edit branding if needed, create calls-to-action, and more.
• Video Agent seats (add-on required) - You can add as many Video Agent seats as you have Starter seats in your plan. These seats, enabling your users to create custom AI videos and avatars, as well as send AI videos through their campaign workflows in platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Salesloft, and Salesforce.

You can purchase or remove seats for your users directly from your Vidyard account, quickly and easily.

Purchase or remove seats in Vidyard

You can choose to purchase additional seats directly in your Vidyard using the payment method we have on file for your account, or remove any seats no longer in use. 

1. Sign in to your Vidyard account
2. Select (icon) Admin > Users from the main menu, then select Update Seat Count
   • You can see your current seat count here at the top of the Users page
3. Enter the number of seats you’d like to buy or remove (type in a value or use the + and - buttons), then select Continue
   • Your current seat count is shown here for your reference. 
4. Review your purchase, then select Confirm Checkout when ready 
   • You’ll see your current total due, next annual payment, date and number of seats, and last 4 digits of your card number. Please note that the picture below is an example, and does not reflect accurate pricing.

Purchase Starter seats from a Vidyard team member

If you want to purchase more than 50 Starter seats at once, you won’t be able to add them manually from your Vidyard account.

Frequently asked questions

How am I charged for seats if I am partway through my subscription term?

When purchasing additional seats from your Vidyard account, you are charged a prorated cost per seat based on the remaining time in your subscription term. Upon renewal, the full cost of each seat is added to the balance owing for the following subscription term. 

If you are removing seats from your account, you will retain access to those seats until the end of your subscription term. Upon renewal, the full cost of each seat will be deducted from the balance owing for the following subscription term.

Is there a limit on the number of seats I can purchase?

You can purchase up to 50 Starter seats at a time from the Users page of your Vidyard account. If you need to purchase more than 50 Starter seats in a single order, please speak directly with a member of the Vidyard Sales team.

For Video Agent seats, you can purchase up to the amount of Starter seats you have in your account (ie. the number of users in your account).

Can I change the payment method I use to purchase seats?

Yes, if you are a member of the Admin team, you can change the payment method on your account at any time in the Vidyard Billing Portal.
